About Manuel Stahl

I am a CTO with a hands-on background in software engineering, IoT, and product development. Over the last years, I moved from building features myself to designing systems and leading teams that deliver complex mobility and telematics solutions.

In my current role as CTO, I am responsible for the technology landscape of a vehicle rental and carsharing ecosystem. I started in this environment as a software developer focused on telematics – integrating hardware boxes into vehicles, designing data flows, and enabling digital controls such as remote locking. From there I moved into product ownership, and eventually into my current position leading the overall technology direction.

What drives me is building technology that matters: systems that are robust in production, understandable for teams, and valuable to users and the business. I care deeply about clear communication, realistic planning, and creating an environment where people can perform at a high level without being burned out.
